The Roman Fountain at Santa Sabina on the Aventine Hill, Rome

We leave this afternoon for Frankfurt and arrive at the crack of dawn.  Two hours later we'll catch a plane for Rome and land at Leonardo da Vinci airport at 9:30 a.m.  Our wonderful tour manager, Gesualdo, is planning to meet us at the airport.   We are so lucky that he is once again available to show us the wonders and beauty of Italy.  We've had lots of fun times in the past with Gesualdo, and look forward to spending time with him again.  Here he is on our first Italy trip in January 2006

And now I'm off to finish packing.
